The wheel-thrown pottery is made from medium fired stoneware or porcelain clay and may be used safely in the dishwasher, oven and microwave. Many of the pots are decorated with a West Coast theme through colour and fish decoration. All glazes are safe for use with all foods.
Janet creates functional wheel thrown pieces and hand built pottery. Her glazes reflect the colours of the earth, sky and forest that surrounds her studio.
Janet is a fine art painter and her passion is capturing wildlife and people on canvas in oils and acrylics. She has also created a line of FUN & FUNCTIONAL ART that includes Fine Art Decorative Pillows with images of her original paintings on splendid cotton/linen covers.
Katherine creates curious and eclectic kiln formed glass that is inspired by vibrant colours and the natural world, she uses her original designs in everything from functional table ware to charming ornaments.
